Dr. Garrison is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 35 years of clinical experience. While a professor at area universities and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, he focuses upon being both a Christian and a clinician. His practice provides individual services, child and adolescent services, and couples services. Also provided are Court Services such as substance abuse evaluations, domestic violence classes, and anger management classes as ordered by the Court. For those individuals interested in becoming involved in an intimate relationship (or improving their current relationship), a program on Dating and Mating is offered. Executive Coaching is another service provided to get back into the work force as well as advancing in your current career. His practice serves the greater Atlanta area including Cherokee, Cobb, Dekalb, and Fulton counties as well as Roswell.

Dr. Garrison is a ninth generation Georgian (although educated inthe Midwest!), hold an earned Ph.D. in Psychotherapy from theUniversity of Wisconsin at Madison, and has practiced in the Atlantaarea since 1985. As a Professor in the Psychology Department, he keeps current on research findings in the area for the benefit of his clientele. During the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games, he served as Medical Staff and has extensive experience in aiding people from different backgrounds. He has written and presented a number of professional papers in the counseling field at the state, regional, and national levels and is recognized as an Expert Witness in Atlanta-area courts.With respect to Court Services, he has consulted to local courts in both civil and criminal matters to aid clientele in "...having their day in Court" (e.g. resenting an objective point of view on their case) in such areas as substance abuse evaluations, custody evaluations, and alcohol and substance abuse concerns.
